Another "beautiful" July morning in Los Angeles. Meaning gray and overcast and not particularly beautiful. Supposedly clearing up and the sun will come out later... when we're all stuck in the office, of course. If I'm luck I'll get out by 7pm and catch the last glimpses of sunlight on my ride home. Ah, for that sunset in my eyes... Until then, stuck at the computer in my Beverly Hills office, counting down until lunch. And then til 7pm.
There's some hubbub about a TMZ report this morning. Our client, "Tom," had something come out about him, and the big boss with the name on the door, "Julie," is sure that he'll find some way to blame her for it.
My direct boss, "Lori," is on the phone chatting up her best gay, a producer whose film is premiering tonight. When she gets off the phone after 2 hours she'll freak out about how little she's gotten done and go nuts.
Oh, Monday.
